I saw a guy running on the shoulder of I380 today just south of CR. I pulled over and asked if he needed help. He told me he was just "out for a jog." WTF? I told him that I think that's illegal. He definitely had some sort of issues. Very strange. As I drove away I called 911. Hope he's ok.
Anyone here ever go jogging on an Interstate highway?

I cringe every time I see someone jogging on any roadway. I used to run 20 miles a week, and I refused to run in streets or highways.
Several years ago my no pic wife was training for a half marathon. She’d run a route on a narrow hwy. Drove me crazy as I was worried as hell she’d get clipped.
GPS must have routed him that way…
I see someone walking along the shoulder, or median, on 680 at least once a week. It's psycho. It has to be one of the most dangerous things you can do.
Jogging along the interstate is a dumb f*cking idea.
Pretty much this. If I'm doing a long run I'm basically taking the shortest route to a multi-modal path that cars aren't allowed on.

Yeah, actually I was just out jogging on 380 today, just south of CR and had some nosy jackass pull over and ask me if I was okay. I told the weirdo I was just out for a jog and to mind his own business. I keep heading down the highway and a few minutes later I have a state trooper pull over and tell me they got a complaint from someone. He tells me I can’t do that and I got a big ticket. If I ever find the snitch who called the cops, he’s definitely getting some stitches.

Now I wear reflective vests at night.
I do it all the time. Nothing beats the smell of gasoline and diesel exhaust and 80 decibel roar of traffic. It’s the best way to train.
