Anyone planning to see Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

I'm still undecided. I liked Fury Road and I like Anya Taylor-Joy, but something about her in this role doesn't seem right. To me, the trailer comes across like an unfunny SNL parody video. It looks like they opted for more CGI in this one rather than the practical effects of Fury Road. Makes it look cheap.

Yeah, they appear to have leaned on CGI, and that's troubling. The rawness of the films has made them appealing over the years. I'll see it.

I liked Fury Road a LOT, so I will probably see this on the assumption it will be pretty good. That said, I'm curious if it can avoid just feeling like a Fury Road retread. Fury Road was so original, so unlike anything we'd seen in a couple decades. If this just comes off as "more of that, but not quite as good" it might suffer.
