It's the X-Files guy as a detective in the Charles Manson saga.

It's easy to see how this could be awful, but if they are serious and try hard there's a lot of potential.

NBC at 9 (Maryland time).

I will dvr it and watch as time permits.

Read Helter Skelter back in high school and was fascinated (in a creepy sort of way) with it. It was a very riveting in a shocking sort of way as back then I was still a young unworldly lad who had not been desensitized to raw violence.

I didn't read it but it had enough pictures to tell the story. I remember watching the movie and have been frightened by it ever since.

It's in my DVR...should I watch? Was it any good?
OK, not great. Some good music but not prominent enough to watch it for that. Duchovny is good. More Joe Friday than Fox Muldur. Manson is evil. Less creepy than Hannibal (so far) but definitely a sociopath. The story line (apparently not the story line we all know but a fictional(?) earlier episode in the Manson saga) is just OK. Might take another episode to decide if it's good enough to stick with.

Will it turn into the Sharon Tate story later on?

Speaking of Mulder... I thought I saw something recently about a reboot of X-Files. Any know if it will be the series or a movie? When is this happening?

The entire season (12 episodes) is available online at NBC.com or with the NBC app.
