He'll let C train him and then buy him in two years???I dunno…. Silver lining is he didn’t choose PSU…. Obviously because Cael didn’t want him anyway.
Agreed. Trust me if PSU wanted him they would of got him.Penn State didn't want him...
Obviously don’t know the ins and outs, but I often wonder why a kid wouldn’t choose to be part of one of the top programs in the nation in Iowa. Cornell is a good program, but come on …
I’ve mentioned him a few times already…. I’ll try to post a pic when they land.Hints?
I'm guessing he's not kidding.You're kidding right?
Cody Chittum?Reinforcements are on the way…. Literally.
I'm guessing this is in reference to a reinforcement we were already aware was on board?Reinforcements are on the way…. Literally.
Nope, but said reinforcement is bringing more reinforcement.I'm guessing this is in reference to a reinforcement we were already aware was on board?
Duuuuuuude.Nope, but said reinforcement is bringing more reinforcement.
Don’t you dare get us overly excited Gobblin haha. Loosing Shapiro is a bit of a gut punch, we need some solid news! I have my fingers crossed for a few guys.Nope, but said reinforcement is bringing more reinforcement.
I don’t think an announcement/commitment will happen, though it COULD, but at the bare minimum a very solid foundation will be laid. Hope he pulls a Franklin and just feels at home instantly and wants to jump right in.Don’t you dare get us overly excited Gobblin haha. I think I’m starting to understand it a bit better. Many top kids expect more out of their university environment than a great wrestling program. And some probably see our staff, from a distance, as over-the-top intense at times.Obviously don’t know the ins and outs, but I often wonder why a kid wouldn’t choose to be part of one of the top programs in the nation in Iowa. The house of worship thing works pretty well for Cael. I can see the hunting and fishing thing being a non issue or a turn off for some. For others it is probably a real bonus.I think I’m starting to understand it a bit better. Many top kids expect more out of their university environment than a great wrestling program. Hunting, fishing and attending house of worship of choice only goes so far…
I agree. However, there is little in Iowa that can’t be found elsewhere and most states have more cultural opportunities, professional sports as well as natural resources set aside for recreational use.The house of worship thing works pretty well for Cael. It is pretty amazing to me how much detail kids get into when looking at a school and then it gets thrown out the window when they take a visit and get the vibe of the team and the coaches.
Joseph Sealey? Continue that Sem pipeline?I don’t think an announcement/commitment will happen, though it COULD, but at the bare minimum a very solid foundation will be laid. Hope he pulls a Franklin and just feels at home instantly and wants to jump right in.
Is it even legal for him to visit campuses yet or have contact with coaches/athletes? I honestly don’t know how the recruiting rules work for sophomores.Joseph Sealey? Continue that Sem pipeline?
I’m no expert, but I believe he can talk with coaches just not about money. And he can take an unofficial visit whenever he would feel like.Is it even legal for him to visit campuses yet or have contact with coaches/athletes? I honestly don’t know how the recruiting rules work for sophomores.
That’s my belief as well. He’s Class of 24 I believe. Till then we appear to have a hole at 157. At least an unproved wrestler at that weight.I’m no expert, but I believe he can talk with coaches just not about money. And he can take an unofficial visit whenever he would feel like.
Sealey strikes me as a 165/174 in college, being that he’s 152 as a sophomore. That’s my belief as well. He’s Class of 24 I believe. Till then we appear to have a hole at 157. At least an unproved wrestler at that weight.
From the north, south, east, or west?Reinforcements are on the way…. Literally.
From my understanding, without a crystal ball, he’s projected as a college ‘57lber. He really seems to be a perfect fit for the program all around.Sealey strikes me as a 165/174 in college, being that he’s 152 as a sophomore.
I think kids now only care about wifi and internet speed. State of Iowa better start getting their wifi shit together. The house of worship thing works pretty well for Cael. I can see the hunting and fishing thing being a non issue or a turn off for some. For others it is probably a real bonus.

I think the cesspool answer is......Yes. Unless from the NW, NE, SW......From the north, south, east, or west?
A kid can visit anywhere on their own dime.Is it even legal for him to visit campuses yet or have contact with coaches/athletes? I honestly don’t know how the recruiting rules work for sophomores.
Yeah, no excuses for this in 2022. They say the governor has better internet plans ahead, but don't they all?I think kids now only care about wifi and internet speed. State of Iowa better start getting their wifi shit together.
What’s the deal with Wi-Fi in Iowa? Is that really an issue?Yeah, no excuses for this in 2022. They say the governor has better internet plans ahead, but don't they all?
No idea. Never bothered to look into it. Dial up has always been solid for me.What’s the deal with Wi-Fi in Iowa? Is that really an issue?
Still running a Commodore 64 or have you updated to 128?No idea. Never bothered to look into it. Dial up has always been solid for me.
No, in most places it's not. They like to make it sound like we have no decent internet speeds. I'm from a small rural community on the western side of the state. In town and in the country, we have had fiber for 5 or 6 years now. Works greatWhat’s the deal with Wi-Fi in Iowa? Is that really an issue?
