I apologize for my ignorance in advance. I haven't kept up lately, but wanted to ask you guys If we have any chance with the the guy from Apple Valley?

Better hope his brother doesn't have a good experience at Minnesota

I had something on my shoe. I left a MARK in the HALL. no chance of getting it out.

Sorry Ozzie...a bit of sour grapes may have formed some of our replies. The last I heard, it's down to PSU, Minne, and tOSU in that order. A few of our guys have this theory that Hall has been sandbagging everyone: Start his villainous career off proper by leading everyone on and then going Iowa. Something along the lines of this:

I'd say Berge could be a future 174 in the making, I think Marinelli will be a career 165, if not competing at 157 for a year or so before then.
I love how you think Lax. Berge is one of my favorite High School kids stylistically speaking. He plain gets after it and is exciting to watch. Imagine Berge, Marinelli, Young and Kemmerer getting after it in the room on a daily basis! The fur would be flying. I used to here a lot of potential hawk talk about Brady when Broc was with the Hawks, but I'm sure Broc's departure doesn't help our chances. Not that we're completely out of the race, but I would imagine the gophers have the upper hand.

I talked to Brady's dad last wrestling season, he said Brady is his own person and will decide where to go for himself. He also said there are no bad feeling towards Iowa whatsoever, it just wasn't a good fit for Broc.

Is there any truth to the rumors Nebraska made a late push for him with JB on the coaching staff is was that just wishful thinking from the Huskers?

I would think that would be a smart move for Hall if it is true. He and Burroughs compete around the same weight and Burroughs gives a ton of credit to Mark Manning and Bryan Snyder. Also Breske as a workout partner for 5 years in the room. I wondering if he commits before his season starts.

Regarding Berge... If Broc doesn't see the lineup in Minny...not sure that helps them at all with the younger. Eggum has seemed to have issues with some simple stuff like match scores and tactics in a few matches recently. J will be gone soon. Eggum may be well liked, but his future as a head coach may not thrill some kids looking at the program.

Mitch, if you had to have one coach your kid... Eggum or KJ?

I am hearing something similar though I think Arizona State is in his top 3 now (despite what he said about wrestling in the B1G) and tOSU might no longer be.

Hmm curious post on Ohio Wrestling Net about Hall from their supposed insider Bob Preusse, he often hints insider info off of a 'Dano twitter account' here is the tweet from dano:

#Dano: The die is cast, Caesar has crossed the Rubicon.

Caeser crossing the rubicon was a river that divided Cisalpine Gaul to the north and proper italy to the south. Iowa and Minnesota happen to be North/South Neighbors. Hall currently resides in MN, thus could only cross into Iowa! Boom, we landed Mark Hall. Conspiracy Theory?!

Dammit... you're going over my head with some of that stuff. I don't read the wrestling forum to learn stuff about ancient history. If you don't stop, I'm coming after you. I know where you live.

I'd be ok with Hall going to either South Dakota or Minny or Nebbie just not ASU or PSU or tOSU which is ironically his probable top three choices. FML.

Maybe he will really go off the wall and head to Ames...... wait this isn't a twilight zone episode so that won't happen.
