i wonder if thats a regional offering. potentially the first special regional offer, made specifically for the iowa palete. like kim chi at mcd's in hawaiii, or poutine at BK in canada.
I have much more interesting ways of getting questionable meat inside my body.

That looks like a venison steak and not a processed/reconstituted block of deer. Intriguing and I'm looking forward to trying it, even though I've never had venison.
They need better marketing.
Instead of calling them "Po' boys", they should make them "Nawlin's Style" and call them "Do' boys"

Article says it is an actual steak they sear and then sous vide until medium. That is a legit sandwich. Only problem is that it looks like they tried this last year in test markets and they sell out right away.Of course it does. But don't get your hopes up.

Original thread title makes me slightly less retarded. Yes, I care what people think.
Why would someone ruin a good venison steak with a bun? Are they going to put ketchup on it too?
