A 100% cj that riddled the isu defense with some spectacular runs? If he's back to the way he was at the start of the season I like our chances tremendously. He adds so much to the offense if he is healthy enough to take off and use his feet. A very dangerous dimension indeed.

I don't think so. HOWEVER, he does not need to be 100% to be effective. He will be effective when he tucks and runs is my gut feeling.

It has been reported for the few months that he will not be 100% until he has some type of groin surgery this winter.

A healthy CJ makes a lot of difference for this offense. A defense that needs to pay attention to a QB that has potential to run will open up some passing lanes and really give this offense the boost that it's needed. Get out TE's down the field and I think we will put a lot of points on the board!

What's interesting about the CJ health discussion is its not like he lets himself get hammered. He probably gets hit more than he should, but the way he breaks tackles you can't really say he should slide.

The dude is about the best 3rd down QB I can remember at Iowa. He will demoralize ISU next year

I think we will see C.J. Boatyard, which is the name by which he was identified on a DM Rag online photo.

NEWS ALERT: What we've done all season has worked. We'll dance with who brung us.

They should try a designed QB run early in the game then wait until later in the game to do it again if they need to. If the 1st try is successful, it should open up the long ball more...

He'll be effective just being in there. With his great vision and ability to reverse-engineer defenses, and tremendous leadership, we could be witnessing the emergence of Joe Montana v2.0.
