A bigger question is: "Are the officials MAKING bets on Saturday's game?"
I only saw the last few minutes, but wow they tried to give that one to Indiana. But what do you expect when Simpson is the lead ref.
If it's tv Ted, mark it down as an L. That guy has some serious man love for Izzo. Never saw so many calls go in his favor when those two are together.

If the refs are in Izzo's pocket as usual, I hope Fran designates one of his assistants to take one for the team. Get one of them out there right away and get T-d up. Stand up for the integrity of the game and for his players. Let Izzo and his striped friends know that Iowa ain't gonna put up with it. And I hope the Hawkeyes will maintain their composure, as they have all year, and lay it on Sparty like Iowa did last year in East Lansing.
As I said in another thread, if ISU can win @ Kansas, Iowa can win @ MSU. After all, MSU is nowhere near as good as Kansas, and MSU doesn't have a 54-game home winning streak going like Kansas did.
Let's hope the basketball gods finally smile on the Hawkeyes and make up for the malfeasance in Minneapolis.

I feel like this weekend we will get Scirrotto just because the Big Ten likes to punish the Hawks. What is funny is Clone fans HATE Tom Eades. I'd take Tom Eades, he is equally bad for both teams but not too over the top. Too bad he is still injured from what I hear.
Hopefully Mike Eades and Carstensen are 2 of them. Those 2 are pretty decent
Doesn't matter, Izzo has already talked to them and the conference office explaining that MSU is better team and must win to make the Big Dance and a loss to a lowly team like Iowa is just not acceptable for college basketball.
