Interesting story about micro beads, the pervasive additive to a huge number of personal care products, and how they linger in the environment. I saw a piece in the Chicago Tribune a few weeks ago about them. The linked article mentions that Illinois has banned them. Illinois researchers started to track how the beads accumulate in fish habitat and have been linked through the food chain back to humans.
