Army Navy

Love it. Has anyone ever gone? It's on my sports bucket list.
Great question, hate to say never thought of it. Dad served WWII, brother, sister, myself inlisted Navy and brother-in-law played football for Navy. I think I need to get off my ass!!!!

I would rather go to an Army/Navy game than watch Iowa play in the Rose Bowl.

As a veteran there is just so much going on before/after this game that hits home.

I've kind of had it on my list too, but never looked into tickets. Figure they might be pricey (or possibly just not all too available).

Just got back in QC from the game. Second year in a row we have gone. Anyone who ever gets a chance to go would be a fool not to go. It’s a great weekend with lots of events going on Friday and Saturday before the game.

Somehow this is what college football should be. The NCAA has built up the sport to rival the NFL, and the days of good amateur athletes playing for pride seems to have fallen by the wayside. It's all driven by money now, and that just doesn't seem right in college athletics. I know it will never revert, but at least we get to set all that aside and watch this great rivalry played by our future military leaders at the end of very season. I root for the academies any time they play anyone but my team, and even then, I feel honored to welcome them onto the same field. Good luck to all these young men.

You think the Army - Navy game (it's own Saturday, CBS, a big pro stadium) is not controlled by money?

This is the first year I watched the Army/Navy game form beginning to end. What a game. The weather was "perfect" and you can just sense the pride and spirit of the game. Good stuff!
