Sad . . . His charges were not even that serious. The max penalty was 6 months in jail and a $1000 fine and if he had no priors there is a good chance he probably wouldn't even go to jail.

I ask that in part because I'm worried about my MIL a bit. FIL who is a Republican and voted for Trump but is now mad at him because he feels like his stunt "has ensured socialism will come" has gotten to the point where he told my wife that he doesn't want to be around her that much because all she does is watch fox news 24/7. And they have been married for more than 40 years.
