So if it was ISIS or Islamic extremists that had stormed the Capital, you’d have the same “let’s just slap them on the wrist” attitude? Why the difference?
I agree with you on this criticism of the comparison, but it’s time to agree you defended a deranged madman for far too long, and that poor judgement let him lead an Anti-American terrorist attack on our democracy. Everyone involved in the beatings/murder/terrorism needs 10-20 years in prison minimum.

There wouldn’t be a difference if the same exact circumstances existed. You assume facts not in evidence counselor. The faces of the perpetrators make no difference.
Next I’ve never said slap on the wrist. I’ve said swift significant consequences. I’d say 5-10 years in prison.
Personally, I believe we should abolish the death penalty nationwide. I think the chance of getting it wrong, however slim, outweighs the benefit. If they can ID anyone responsible for the death of the officer, those people should absolutely get the death penalty if we are to have it at all. It's not an effective deterrent for sick individuals like serial killers who are a threat to the general public without political or financial motivations. Doesn't seem to be a deterrent for people who end up about that life. It may be a deterrent for others to not get sucked into conspiracy theories and try to overthrow the government. But I think a long prison sentence would also do that.
OK...Let’s say it’s Islamic Extremists (You‘d label them terrorists, correct?) that storm the Capital. Zip ties to hold elected officials hostage or possibly contain them to execute them. Kill an innocent police officer. Screaming “Hang Pence”.

If that video holds up as evidence the charge will be first degree murder of a Federal law officer
May I ask then how you can make the determination of manslaughter?
My Understanding, previously, was that the officer was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher and in a delayed way, succumbed to his injuries.
I’m not an attorney but it doesn’t seem like the type of injury that one could’ve necessarily assumed was going to kill him. But apparently there’s a video that I have not yet seen so I guess I will retract my opinion until I have a chance to view said video.

Kind of OT, but in the videos we keep seeing there’s text scrolling over it like in this one. What is that? Is there a video hosting platform I don’t know about that does that?

Actually, Booth was an esteemed, critically popular actor.
I think there is a software program one can apply to any video. I have no idea what program, where to find, or how to use it if it does indeed exist.
