wondered if any of the hrot'ers that went to iowa in the 90's might remember some large original art that hung in the atrium/staircase area of the communications building.

the piece (maybe more than one) that i'm thinking of was more abstract but was build from gruesome imagery (at least, i'd say) of bones, blood, meat.

anyone remember this piece, and possibly who that artist was/is?

i walked through the building a few years ago, tryinig to find it - and i think it was moved. just couldn't track it down.

no one?

and it wasn't the artist that had an installation in the UI art museum 6-7 years ago that did a lot of this kind of work (at least, i don't think). that stuff was from around the 1900's and i always thought the Comms building painting was from the 80's.
