I think I will mail him about 50 lbs of sand so he has something to stick his head in.

because first of all he calls them isil which is an insult to Israel, and second of all he has installed the muslim brotherhood in other countries and stated he wants iran to nuke us, and he was gun running along with Hillary in Benghazi-. you tell us whose side he's on?

I hope he at least lets my brother-in-law come home, who is currently in Iraq for the 5th time.

Why would he waste his time on ISIS. They are just "Junior Varsity" terrorists.

The war on terrorism is over. We won it when we killed Obama. Bengazi wasn't terrorism. That was outrage over the a movie by a racist American. If it wasn't for America, there would be no terrorism. Don't you guys know this.

If the Iraqis are unwilling to die for their country, there is no way we should spend another American life there. The inept force that was recently routed from Ramadi was actually superior in numbers to the attacking ISIS force. Don;t forget that this situation is morphing more and more into a civil war brought on by a corrupt Iraqi government and fueled by religion.

I'm starting to agree with this more and more. These people are savages from a savage culture. If the rest of the region wants a group like ISIS running Iraq, then let them deal with the consequences. All I'd suggest is we keep running airstrikes frequently enough that every time an ISIS group gathers in one place they're getting bombs dropped on them. And keep small strike forces in place so if we get a crack at ISIS leadership we can take them out.

Do you let ISIS reach its full strength which would threaten our homeland even more? Their ultimate goal( like Iran's) is to destroy us. My feeling is we take them out before they fully metasicise. It will be more costly the longer we wait. That being said, I do understand your revulsion to putting troops in harms way. If any thing this shows keeping troops stationed in hot spots around the world is cheaper than the alternative

This post, IMO, states the sad truth. I believe the whole world will eventually have to face ISIS. If that is true, it will cost vastly fewer lifes to do it now. I also believe it is stupid to allow them to take over cities, military installations, and other strategic facilities and then decide to root them out, after the fact.

But how do you truly defeat them? If we go in there now they'll just blend back into communities once we arrive, kill troops with car bombs and ieds, then come back out as soon as we leave doing what they've done over the past few years.
Ultimately we should have stayed in country until it was more stable, but at some point it's not our problem to fix.

You know...this is why people constantly believe you have brain bubbles. If all you have is ripping her looks, you got nothing at all in absolutely everything you post. It just makes you look like an idiot that much more.
You only know the character called Arbitr8, you don't know me nor will you ever have the privilege.

Keep swinging Tiger!

Let ISIS have that phucking moonscape, who cares. It's apparent now that the general population in that country can only be governed by a heavy handed dictator. Sadaam Hussein will one day be recognized as the best thing that ever happened in Iraq, ISIS can have it all. If the day ever comes that they try something on US soil we will know exactly where to find them and can proceed to nuke the place from border to border.

This is the problem. They aren't a traditional enemy that you can easily identify and take out. Moreover, trying to let Iraq become more democratic may have even made things worse. We tried letting them elect their own leader. Didn't work. The Sunnis didn't vote and just became angry. We then tried finding them a new leader. That didn't work, either. And since the early 2000s, the region has been boiling over with insurgents and uprisings. But what about force? God knows we tried that. It was used a recruitment tool. I'm not sure how you solve this problem?

Actually, Obama's work can be found everywhere. Obama just armed ISIS again, through the Iraqi soldiers, more weaponry. This will give the MIC more reasons to be in the ME. The war would be over in hours if our enemy was unarmed. So, we just keep re-arming them to prolong our unwanted visit.

Its comical when idiots use childish remarks when talking about our first lady. They can't think critically through their comment to realize it makes them look like a fool.

well, he wants them to takeover the world, Obama's ottoman empire, so of course he isn't gonna stand in their way in Iraq, duh

Another misguided thread from those who get their "thoughts" from Fox and wingnut emails.

ISIS is a real problem. Worth discussing. Worth getting exercised about. But Arbitr8 and other lemmings think what we should be talking about is "Obama is nowhere to be found."

Not only is that a false narrative - as others have pointed out - but it distracts from what's important.

Obama and the new world order idea of winning Iraq:

1. overthrow governments in Libya and Egypt, install muslim brotherhood
2. weaken the us military
3 gun run in Benghazi through turkey
4 tell iran they can nuke the us and Israel

winning!
