I've never really liked Askren much, he's a conceited smarta$$, but I can't argue with most of what he said.
I'm glad we got some help. I'm sorry we lost some guys that had been loyal to the program and who would have provided some depth (you just never know what might happen). I wish them all the best, except when facing Iowa. I hate what college sports has become. If NIL really leveled the playing field it would be great, but we're still miles behind Ped State, and in a couple years the disparity will cost more programs. There has never been parity in wrestling, but the gap from top tier to the next level will be widening.
