Excerpt:

Coach 5: I would say Iowa and Wisconsin. Iowa seems to always come in and they seem to be able to lure the best players out, and I think Wisconsin has, too. I don’t feel like I’ve seen (Wisconsin’s) staff as much recently. I felt like I used to see Wisconsin all the time, but the last couple of years, I don’t know if it’s pandemic-related, but I don’t see them as much. But you see Iowa all the time. Those guys are coming in and they do a great job of finding guys, because they are truly a developmental program, and their track record speaks to that.

Coach 6: That is a great question. I would say the University of Iowa. I think coach Ferentz, man, they get it. And their offensive line coach now there (George Barnett) I absolutely love. He’s good, and he’s an Illinois guy. They always come. They kind of get some weird kids out of Illinois, some small-town kids, but then you look at them — they see something in some kids that no one else does.
