Audible issues

Just reflecting on the season a bit, did anyone notice that Petras did not audible as much this year? One article referenced McNamaras ability to get Michigan into the right plays frequently. It just seemed like we didn't even audible a quarter of what we normally have. Could that be because Petras or that the line didn't know the plays well enough to understand the audibles. I have always believed a big part of offensive success hinges upon audibles to get you out of bad plays and/or to get into explosive plays.
