Is money (NIL money perhaps?) from the purchase of these shirts going to help Ava, or is Raygun just profiting from her illness?

Yeah, just to be safe, I'd rather just give her the cash.

It says that these shirts are officially licensed with Ava Jones.

Ava's mom posted this on Feb 9th:

Two weeks ago when Ava told me a spot on her neck was swollen, I told her to keep an eye on it. Last week when she said her blood work came back and they can’t rule out cancer, I told her there is NO way it’s cancer, you’ve already been through so much, I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about. When her CT scan results came in Tuesday and the doctor said he was 90% sure it was lymphoma, I said well there’s still a chance it’s not, but mom and I drove up to Iowa that night so we could be at the oncologist appointment with Ava on Wednesday. When the biopsy results came in Friday confirming Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, I told Ava she’s so strong and already has worked so hard to overcome so much that she for sure can overcome this.

It’s not fair, it doesn’t make sense, it’s hard to believe, but she has no other option than to continue to fight. She has such a strong support system as evident from all the well wishes and prayers sent via social media and the texts and calls from family and friends closet to her.

Thank you for keeping Ava in your thoughts and prayers as she begins yet another journey to recovery.

Note that Ava will keynote a session.

🤔
We invite you to get to know Ava's journey.

Ava Jones, as a pedestrian, was hit by a car in 2022, two days after committing to the University of Iowa Women's Basketball team.
🏀
As a result of the crash, she sustained a traumatic brain injury (TBI) causing her to medically retire from the basketball program. But that hasn't slowed Ava down. She returned to school with aspirations to pursue journalism.
🎤

Ava connected with the Brain Injury Alliance of Iowa and is going to keynote a session during the 33rd Annual Best Practices in Brain Injury Conference on March 6th and 7th, to share her story about surviving a brain injury and getting back to living her best life while stepping back from her identity as a student-athlete. Ava will share how a TBI has impacted her physically, emotionally, and cognitively, her relationships, identity change, and her motivation to live life to the fullest.

And now, Cancer Warrior enters her persona, as she was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Ava is determined that this will be just another step in her impactful journey.

And as you can see further down, Ava turned 20 on Friday.

It would be brutally difficult as Ava or her mother to see the "highlights" of her past. To see her at her athletic best (NOT that it is more important as just her as a human being) and literally days away from beginning her dream, to what has been taken from her, to today.
Cannot--and don't want to--imagine that.
