Punters Sam Foltz (Nebraska) and Mike Sadler (Michigan State) were killed in an automobile accident last night.

Thoughts and prayers to those programs. Everything I have heard about the two, the only thing that surpassed their talent on the field, were the kindness they displayed off the field.

Oh my God, that's horrible. Thoughts and prayers to their families, teammates, and fans.

Two great lives taken far too soon. Prayers for the family, friends and teammates of Mike Sadler and Sam Foltz. Nebraska will no longer be attending B1G media days this week as a result of this tragedy.

Thoughts and prayers to the families of these young men and and the programs they represented.

Sadly it takes things like this in life to drive home the point that the petty differences between fans of schools is nothing in the grand scheme of life. Life is short, Not guaranteed and there is simply no time to waste on hatred. Thoughts and prayers go out to the families of both young men, Truly sad news.

LSU kicker also hurt in same accident. Thoughts and Prayers to everyone involved.

This is terrible news. Thoughts and prayers to both families and programs.

Sam Foltz was one of the players that spoke at Fan Fest in Indianapolis on Saturday before the B1G tournament in the interview panels they did. Seemed like a great kid who was ready to get back to Nebraska this year to get after it.

Mike Sadler, well we all know him. How can Iowa fans forget the fake punt in 2013? Once again from what we've heard seems like an all around great kid.

Awful news and so very sad. From reading about Sam it sounds like he stood for everything that was good about student athletes. Multi times on honor roll amongst other achievements.

Prayers for all the families. Prayers for the 2 programs that have to deal with this tradgedy

Sadler's grandfather was born in Iowa. Then moved out to Wyoming and was a politician. I worked with Mike's uncle for almost 10 years.

Mike was one of the most popular kids on his teams. He was a 4 time Academic All American and by all accounts one of the funniest and kind people around. He was about to start law school at Stanford. His essay to get into Stanford Law was about beating Stanford in the Rose Bowl.

His twitter was pretty funny and that petting a fake cat (faux pelini) was hilarious.

.

Obviously don't know either one of these kids but when I first read this it hit me pretty hard and I couldn't figure out why.

Then I realized it's because my kids are roughly the same age as these two and I followed the punter from Michigan State on Twitter because he was a funny kid.

What a shame.

Thank you Hawks for the kind support.Off the field deep down we are all brothers and sisters,God bless.
