The hair is a little weird and I'm always skeptical of guys in short shorts but we'd absolutely love him if he was a hawk. Don't get the hate, he's a baller. It's not like he punches guys in the junk or anything

I know people that think Garza is a douchebag. People sometimes hate the guys that beat their teams. I had the opportunity to watch Luka walk around on the Illinois floor after the game at Illinois last year after a brutal loss. He was taking pictures with Illinois fans and signing autographs. I thought he was totally cool. You really don't know much about guys until you have the opportunity to interact with them.
Yeah, I have no problem with him either...can't fault the guy for being really good.
Granted I don't follow IL, but by all accounts he doesn't talk a lot trash or bitch at the refs based on what I have seen.

That young man is AMAZING on the court. However, is he not one of the Illini players earlier this year that said he HATED Iowa? I remember that made me raise an eyebrow.
