EDIT: Michigan choked! lololololol. Michigan and Harbaugh now pariahs in the B10 for letting everyone down by falling flat on his face with the weight of the perfect bowl record on his shoulders. I love it, love it, love it. I'll leave the rest of the post as it was:

Yeah, the B10 is 7-0 straight up which is amazing, but from a bettor's perspective the 6-1 vs. the spread is incredible! Northwestern is the only team that didn't cover (they were close, though). And, yes, i know, there are hundreds of different places to go for different spreads, but just by loking at the top betting sites the B10 has exceeded spread expectations. So if anyone tells you, "yeah, but the B10 was favored in almost all of their bowl games," just let them know that they won by margins that blew the doors off predicted margins of victory. It's impressive.

Michigan has to win by at least 8 tomorrow to beat the spread (unless it's changes before game time). That would make the B1G 8-0 straight up and 7-1 vs. the spread. I have to admit, though, Michigan choking would be pretty damn funny.

Something tells me Michigan will blow it for the Big Ten and find a way to lose. But I hope not. Going undefeated in the bowls would make the SEC butthurt to the max. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to that scenario. They'd never be able to get over it.

Good call, BLNT. So far it's been the perfect scenario: Michigan loses (I couldn't root for them, just couldn't) and yet the rest of the SEC is still falling apart: Auburn loses to a Group of 5 team, LSU loses to Notre Dame, and Georgia currently getting shellacked by Oklahoma at half. I don't even mind South Carolina winning because they aren't typically an SEC power.

But Michigan blowing it in another spectacular choke is priceless. Yeah, they blew the perfect record for the B10, but now they get to be the laughing stock of the conference for at least a year. Think of it: Every single B10 team is looking at them as the team that blew it. They blew it so badly, too. And for it to be Harbaugh? I couldn't have scripted it better. SEC ranked teams tanking, the B10 still 7-1 overall, and Michigan being the team that chokes away the chance at perfection. Just need Oklahoma to close the deal and Clemson to beat the living hell out of Alabama and it's a perfect day. :D
