It will be interesting to see who actually makes the tournament and where. With Maryland a 3 and MSU a 4, makes me think Iowa is looking at a 7-10 seed.

Look who started this. Of course he’s wrong. We’re 8-5 with 7 left. In my opinion worst case scenario is 2-5 to go 10-10 which could drop us to a 7. I think 4-3 gets a 5 possible 4 and 3-4 gets a 6. Just my opinion.
As long as we avoid the Franplosion late-season collapse, we should be fine.
19 wins makes us a lock, but anything more than that earns us a 7 seed or higher with each win.
We can only improve our stock from here given that all our remaining games are Quad 1 or 2 (or just Quad 1?......)
Lots can happen in the rest of season. In general it seems better to be in one of the conference's with little depth. Committee rewarded wins more than depth of the Big Ten.
If Maryland wins out and wins the BTT then they will have a shot at getting a #1 seed--and they'd deserve it because they'd have more Quad 1 wins than any other team in the country. A lot more basketball to play before worrying about seeding.

The committee literally just said yesterday they have Iowa on the 5 line and that was before two four seeds lost yesterday. Try to keep up..
IF we can win at Indiana this week, We will be in that top 16 list. Penn State should be there as well. Michigan State out of course
The problem with seeding the B1G is that I agree with media that says they are by far the deepest conference but that they don’t have any teams that seem poised for a Final Four run. Obviously they call it Madness for a reason, and maybe they have 8 teams that could... but when they are all at the top it doesn’t give the impression anybody can be dominant. Just win baby and let things take care of themselves

Watched San Diego State vs Air Force last night, and with all due respect to SDS, if that team played in the Big Ten it would be battling for a 10th-place finish. Sure, it's undefeated, but how would it do facing Purdue, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio State, Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan State, Iowa, et. al 20 times? At least five or six Big Ten teams should be seeded higher than SDS if you look at the quality of the teams and how they've fared against other really good teams in really difficult places to play. IMHO.

I'm going to suggest that given the quality of conference play this year, most BIG teams under consideration are being slightly undervalued,.. I think we over perform in the tournament...
The B10 appears to have the most depth as a conference this year. That is not to say all of the teams deserve a top seed. They still lost a lot of games.
