East
1. Ohio State (4-0, @ Illinois) - Took care of Indiana this past weekend, but didn't look like a top 3 team in the country. Dbacks struggled, and Fields had a touch game.
2. Indiana (4-1, vs Maryland) - Give Indiana credit, not many gave them a chance against OSU, and they gave them a great game. Tom Allen has a legit team.
3. Maryland (2-1, @ Indiana) - Maryland was idle this week after coming down with 20+ COVID cases.
4. Michigan (2-3, vs Penn State)- Michigan escaped a scare against Rutgers to pick up their 2nd win of the season against Rutgers. Did they find their QB?
5. Rutgers (1-4, @ Purdue) - Rutgers isn't a good team by any means, but we've seen them take steps towards being competitive, even if it is a poor Michigan team. Give them time, as this is a 'year zero.'
6. Penn State (0-5, @ Michigan)- We all saw first hand how Penn State struggles, but they showed signs of life in the third quarter. I think you have to worry about the team quitting the rest of the year.
7. Michigan State (1-3, vs Northwestern) - Despite Penn State being 0-5, I think Michigan State is the worst team in the B1G. Lombardi isn't a power 5 quarterback, and the defense is a mess.

West
1. Northwestern (5-0, @ Michigan State) - How many thought Northwestern were going to beat the Badgers? The team fits Pat Fitzgerald's identity and plays fantastic defense.
2. Wisconsin (1-2, vs Minnesota) They only put up 7 points against the Cats, which is partly because they were missing their top two pass catchers. This is still a dangerous team.
3. Iowa (3-2, vs Nebraska) - We've seen Iowa rattle off 3 20+ point victories in a row, mainly because of their defense and running game. Petras took a step forward and should be able to do so again on the short week.
4. Purdue (2-2, vs Rutgers) - Purdue lost to the Gophers on a short week, being forced to start a different QB. Rondale Moore made his season debut but still couldn't put up enough points against the poor Gopher defense.
5. Minnesota (2-3, @ Wisconsin) - Bounced back after getting embarrassed against the Hawks with a quality win over the Boilermakers. The run game is very good, and Bateman may be the best WR in the B1G.
6. Illinois (2-3, vs Ohio State) - Illinois absolutely crushed Nebraska this weekend, playing Lovie ball to perfection. I don't think this team is good, but the defense has been effective.
7.. Nebraska (1-3, @ Iowa) - The upcoming Hawk opponent fell to 1-3 on the year with a loss to Illinois, and still aren't playing B1G football. They struggle up front, at the skill position, and at QB. Not a good team.
