i wonder if there is any consideration for changing the BTT seeding tiebreakers? With the unbalanced schedules we have now, Conf record of conf opponents should be one of the first tiebreakers! I think they should be as follows:
1. Head to head if one team went 2-0 over the other or 1-0 with the win on the road
2. Conf record of conf opponents
3. Head to head if one team went 1-0 over the other with the win at home
4. Continue however it does now
Now, the unbalanced schedule that can lead to someone tying you then additionally helps them win the tiebreaker. Take us and maryland for example, if our game had been in IC we likely win and are a game ahead of them. As it is we're tied and the own the tiebreaker because the game was there.
This year my idea wouldw help us, some years it wouldn't, but how could anyone argue that strength of unbalanced conf schedule should not be foremost?
