  1. Northwestern (4-3 vs. UW) - 8-1 to 1-8 to 5-1 and winners of their 2nd division title in 3 years. Hats off to Pat Fitzgerald, despite the loss to Michigan State on Saturday. They took care of business over Iowa and Wisconsin .... paydirt!
  2. Wisconsin - they get Indiana this week, and are a 14 point favorite at home. The Hawkeyes and Hoosiers open 2021 at Kinnick. The East > West or is it closer in '20?
  3. Purdue beat Iowa, but since the 2-0 start, the Boilermakers are nose diving in 20/20. Nebraska has a serious opportunity to get their 2nd W of 20/20. Some Boilermakers fans are thinking Wandale Robinson will transfer out, and West Lafayette may be his next destination. It will make for an interesting 2021, if that happens. Loss to Rutgers have some Boilermaker fans ready to hand out pink slips to staff.
  4. Iowa is better than #4, but the 0-2 start still burns. As Lovie Smith reminded the Illini press corp yesterday, Iowa could have won any of the games this year.
  5. Minnesota - PJ Fleck is off again, after covid-19 outbreak scrapped the Wisconsin and now Northwestern game. Will they even go to Lincoln in Week 8?
  6. Illinois - they have won two straight B1G road games for the first time, since 2007, but Lovie has never beat Iowa or Northwestern. Let's hope it isn't Iowa this year!
  7. Nebraska - the Huskers beat Penn State, but have yet to win against a West team. Can they take out Purdue and/or Minnesota to close out 20/20.
We can hope?

And, Nebraska fans continue to cripe about Big Ten officiating.
