B1G West since 2014

Wisconsin has been the bell cow, the Leader, since 2011, Legends and Leaders, for Big Ten West teams. But, over the past 7 years, a switch has occurred, finalized in the past 2 of the final 3 years. Since the West begun in 2014:
  1. Northwestern (4-3 over UW) - the Wildcats are taking care of business against teams in the B1G West, including a winning mark, since the West begun. Pat Fitzgerald is the clear #1 and QB Peyton Ramsey was his meal ticket for 2020!
  2. Wisconsin (5-1 over Iowa), and they are still ranked despite an only 2-1 record in 2020. Won't they likely be favored to beat Iowa again, looking at QB?
  3. Iowa (2015) - the Hawkeyes have three critical games left, if they plan to finish 6-2 in the B1G regular season. Iowa hasn't finished with two or fewer losses, since the hallmark season in 2015 season, and 2009 prior.
Let's face it. Northwestern and Wisconsin have put better teams out on the field more times than not, since 2016. Iowa should notch a win against Wisconsin finally at Kinnick. It has been a 12 years.

Iowa, since 2016, has one lone win combined against Northwestern and Wisconsin. Last year's, win in Evanston 20-0.

So, Sagarin Ratings of #3 is right. Iowa is a clear #3 in the B1G West, though, the Hawkeyes have an opportunity to change that in the next 3 games.

@TomKakert was right when he shared, "having said all that, while Iowa could be close to 4-0 (5-0 now), I’m still not sure how good they would be at 4-0 (5-0 now), if that makes sense."

The Hawkeyes beat USC 49-24, but look at the Trojans overall. The better team won last year. But, others likely could have beat USC, as well.

Iowa has lost 3 of 4 against Purdue, so hard to give too high of marks for the Hawkeyes. As I have said, this team reminds me of 2008.

The Gophers have won 7 of 8 meetings with Purdue, and won 2020 against the Boilermakers, with Rondale Moore playing. Impressive.

Like Iowa, well, actually, unlike Iowa, Minnesota one win in 15 years against Wisconsin, so is 2020, a repeat of 2018, when the losing streak died, in the longest rivalry West of the Mississippi?

Nebraska and at llinois are the next two games for the Hawkeyes. Can't let off the gas, after back to back wins allowing 7 points, the Hawkeyes allowed 21 points on Saturday in Happy Valley.

Iowa has scored 49, 35 and 42 points the past three games. What will it be on Black Friday?
