Does anyone else feel like this whole no BIG football is just one bad dream. I keep thinking everyday somehow someone’s going to step in and say the season is back on. I just don’t understand how some conference are playing and have teams in the same states as teams that aren’t playing. I wish someone (probably a govt official or doctor) would just say this shits over. Either we have the cure or it’s really not as bad is what people want you to believe.
I love sports and have been involved with playing them or watching them all my life and they have basically been taken away. On the other hand who enjoys going to work, yet that’s still there (which I’m grateful for) but that isn’t as risky as some younger healthily adults playing sports? Come on already. Kids all over the state played sports all summer with parents sitting on top of each other while spectating and noting major happened. We just went through derecho and I saw a lot of people in close contact of one another with no problems along with tons of protesting around the world. I’m so sick of this shit! I just want to live life and enjoy the things I’ve always enjoyed.

I went to a HS scrimmage in Iowa City last Friday night. A lot of times I’ll go to an area HS game on Friday before a home Iowa game. It really set in for me last Friday how bad this is gonna suck with no Iowa football on Saturdays

I felt the same way ... for two days after they announced there would be no B10 football. After that? I calmed down, took a deep breath, and kept living. College football is entertainment. I'm hoping all these posts and threads about this are just fans blowing off steam (over and over and over and ... f'ing endless bitching) because if these responses are a barometer of the character and resolve of fans then Iowa is truly a snowflake state.
