Anyone getting tired of this narrative about Iowa's and MSU's upsets yesterday? Sorry, ESPN, FOX, CBS, etc., but the B10 is more than tSOU and Ped State. Those upsets were GREAT for the B10! Every team and fanbase in the B10 loved those games (except PSU and tSOU, of course). That's a 12 to 2 vote saying those games were good for the B10. So each B10 athletic department loses out on an extra $360k for having no team in the CFP, so what? That's peanuts for them. College football is about much more than the CFP, but it's everything to the TV sports stations. Glad we screwed you, ESPN! :p

I think the upsets were bad for the B10 playoff chances for this year.

I think the upsets are good for the long run. The B1G is on an upswing. The middle class beating the blue bloods is good. Purdue and Maryland hiring good coaches is good. Rutgers is improving, just need Illini to show something.

Massey composite has PSU as the highest 2-loss team at #5, and Iowa as the highest 3-loss team at #18. The B1G strength of schedule now helps, rather than hurts.
