This polling service isn’t usually an outlier either:

Honestly, I hate to say it, but that was my first thought when I heard the game was canceled. Well, there's the final nail in Trump's coffin in Wisconsin.

This polling service isn’t usually an outlier either:

When your entire state is inundated with Covid, and the President is going on record saying "the pandemic is over".......something's finally gonna click for people.

Biden's trip to Georgia on Tuesday is telling. I'd bet good $$$ that their internal polling is pretty positive and the Dems see a very real chance of flipping at least one, if not both, Senate seats in the State.
Going to be hard to flip those senate seats due to the way Georgia elections work. It's basically a jungle primary where the candidate has to clear 50% or it goes to a run off between the top 2 finishers. Ossoff has an outside shot at clearing 50, but Warnock certainly won't. Without a presidential election voting wave, it's going to be hard for them to win in the runoff. We saw this once with Ossoff already in 2018 where he won the first round by nearly 30 pts, but only got to 48, and then lost in the runoff when the republicans consolidated around Handel.

If Wisconsin has a Democrat Governor and a mask mandate then why do they need Trump to do anything.

The Trafalgar Group had the most reliable predictions in 2016. Their methodology is far different than most other polling groups' methodologies. Their current data for this election is much different than most of the polling data that is circulating. It will be much closer than what is being predicted, and I would not at all be surprised if Trump wins. We will see shortly.

you serious?

Because the states moron GOP legislators are fighting it every step of the way and Encouraging their voters not to wear masks.

From the AP:
Rick Esenberg, president of the conservative Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, which is suing Evers over the mask mandate, showed no signs of backing down despite Trump’s diagnosis. The lawsuit claims Evers did not have the legal authority to issue repeated emergency declarations and mask orders.

“No governor has the authority to rule by decree indefinitely by declaring one emergency after another,” Esenberg said. “There is no pandemic exception to the rule of law or our Constitution. If the governor believes a mask mandate is required, there are lawful ways to pursue one.”

Republicans successfully sued to end the governor’s “safer at home” order in May. The state’s health secretary, Andrea Palm, on Tuesday blamed that action as contributing to the state’s rapid spike in cases. The surge has also corresponded with college campuses and K-12 schools re-opening in the fall, although the state’s two two largest districts in Madison and Milwaukee remain virtual only.

The Wisconsin GOP is doing its best to utterly turn that beautiful state into a shit hole and destroy its once proud university system.

And in case you think the legislators and other Republican officials irresponsibility is not a factor, explain this tidbit from a Times story today:

Interesting tidbit from NY Times story that may shed light on the Wisconsin shift:

In Wisconsin this month, nearly 75 percent of cases — and 80 percent of deaths — are attributed to counties that supported Mr. Trump in 2016.

This was true in 2016. Give some credit to Trafalgar.

But every polling house worth their salt has changed their methodology to do what Trafalgar did in ‘16. They have shifted their demographics to find the “hidden” Trump voters (less-educated whites) instead of aligning their panels to exact U.S. demographics and political party representation.

If anything, these nuances are now underestimating the “sick-of-this-sh*t”voter. Those folks are turning out in droves. It’s going to get ugly for the GOP.

That specific problem has as much to do with the Wisconsin State court more than anything. The court has tried, and succeeded in some cases, to overturn most of the Gov's mandates and rulings.

Kansas is another example of problems beyond the Gov's control. Governor mandated Statewide usage of masks, only to have the State court make it an individual County decision.

Fact is... Trump shoves the hard stuff onto the States.

Those of us who live in county's that wear masks are loving the tent hospital opening amongst us. Its great to have infected drive in to our less infected region.

Oh, and c'mon, Iowa!

Don't forget: "How stupid are the people of Iowa?" Amazing we haven't seen a clip of that in an ad.
I'll do it if the Dems won't.

I’ve said it before: It is campaign malpractice to not be playing that clip over and over, in different ways, in ads across Iowa. Hell, Bruce Braley made a farmer crack about Chuck Grassley that wasn’t half as insulting and the GOP ran with it incessantly. I wish Democrats knew how to sling the dirt as well as Republican pigs.

You will crap yourself when Trump wins in a landslide.

Are you sure it won't be the exact opposite and a bloodbath for the Democrats?

Here is the deal. Milwaukee is going to barely break for Biden, if it does at all. Racine is going to go Trump, Kenosha Biden. That is million people right there in almost a dead heat tie. Madison goes strong Biden. Probably 2-1. There are 5.8 Million people in WI, and they are largely in smaller cities throughout the State. Older population in those cities. Madison has 670,000 in the MSA. The remaining 2.2 million is going to go very hard Trump, and those older folks are hard to reach for polls. Trump wins.

Why on earth would old people be hard to reach for polls, during a pandemic that disproportionally affects them no less? It's an exciting day for my parents these days when a package comes in the mail.
