Save it for a top juco recruit or transfer in the spring. Don’t waste it on another fallback recruit.

I couldn't agree more. Heck, a mid year transfer could come up too. Make the transfer sit out a year to improve and be ready when minutes open up.

Fran doesn't particularly like JUCO's, transfers, or grad transfers. He's going to use it on a fallback.
I don't disagree with that approach, it just doesn't seem to matter if Iowa banks scholarships or not....the result seems to be the same (i.e. fall back or mid-major recruit).
His comments are specially ironic considering the dbs posting here the last 30 hours...
Technically there isn't a scholarship available for next year and we would be 1 over if JBo goes Medical Hardship Redshirt.

I've heard JBo will redshirt. My guess would be either some attrition or one of Fran's kids get lifted off scholarship.
