I apologize to HROT. I goofed my last attempt a few months ago. Let's try this one.
What player with at least 5000 career AB's with his team led his franchise in career average, home runs, and RBI's? I'll post the answer in one hour.
A. George Brett
B. Stan Musial
C. Hank Aaron
D. Willie Mays

Well, I'd eliminate Mays and Aaron off the top. Neither had great batting averages. That leaves Brett and Musial. Given the number of great players for the two teams, Brett almost has to be on top of all three. As great as Musial was, it would be easier to see someone, like Pujols, having more HRs or something.

The answer is George Brett. As great as all the candidates were, only Brett could claim the power and average. I imagine playing for a relatively young franchise helped him out a little.

What was the final score of the 1985 Cubs - Reds game when Pete Rose tied Ty Cobb for most career hits?

For any player to accomplish that feat, they need to play for a franchise that didn't have Rogers Hornsby.
