I think the 3 and 4 spots are pretty interchangeable in Fran's system, at least last year it seemed this way. With that said, when Woodbury is in the game I like this as the starting lineup.
5- Woody
4- Uthoff
3 - Moss
2.- Jok / Fleming - Whoever is shooting well and playing the best ball.
1. - Mike
When Woody gets in foul trouble or needs a rest I like it looking like this.
Uhl/Jones - Whoever is playing the best and proves they can play physical defense
Ahmad Wagner - I really think he can add a physical presence this team will otherwise be lacking
Uthoff
Fleming or Jok
Mike
Obviously Sapp will give Mike needed rest and also get minutes at the 2 spot when needed. This will give us a 10 man rotation. Even when Woody comes out of the game we will have a lineup that can go 6-8, 6-7, 6-9, 6-6, 6-1.
I really like Brandon Hutton and hate leaving him out of the mix, because I think he eventually will be the best peremiter defender we've had at Iowa since Kenyon Murray. I think he might be a year away offensively, and I just think Moss is going to steal a lot of his minutes.
I can't wait to hear what everyone thinks of this.
