Just curious. Has anyone heard how the walkons have been looking in practice? They are better than your average walkons. They might contribute down the road. You never know. Definitely adds nice shooting depth.

No idea how he's doing on the court, but Carter Kingsbury looks like he could provide some depth at LB if needed.
He would probably make a pretty good tight end also. The kid is put together.
Hard to imagine they will provide anything but practice opponents this season. Could have a shooter or 2 in the bunch but don't see them getting time this year.
There will be at least some games during the preseason and during the year, we will see Laketa and Kingsbury on the floor at the same time and even though Ash is on scholarship his playing time is in the same boat.
Does any insider know if Iowa has put more emphasis on physical development in recent years? That group shot we saw of the team showed some pretty ripped dudes.
Wondering if development like that could help walk ons grow as well and have a chance to surprise.
Also just a note on how as a life long Iowa fan how awesome it is to have legacy players on the roster. Fran seems to be making all the right moves - picking up top talent and stuffing the ‘practice squad’ with potential.
