Stack the box to shut down Jackson and dare them to put the ball in the air. I don't think Northwestern will have sustained success passing against Iowa's secondary and I think Thorson will throw a couple of picks. On offense, keep it on the ground and mix in some play action to neutralize the strength of the Cats' secondary. Maybe dust off that TE-heavy gameplan from the last time the Hawks played in Columbus?

If the Hawks can just figure out a way to play through the injuries and pull out a win in Evanston, they have two weeks to get healthy for Maryland and November. Can you imagine if they win this week, by the time they play again, they may be a Top 10 team headed into the stretch run of the season. They will be favored in every single game and will control their own destiny to Indy (and beyond!).

Go Hawks!
