Not the official fight song
There are many other great memories plenty of fans likely have of Rocky Top. The ironic thing is it’s still not technically the fight song for Tennessee.

Now I will say that William and Mary (where I went for law school) IS the best alma mater hands down. Every other school’s alma mater sounds like a dirge/funeral song, while William and Mary‘a actually sounds joyful and triumphant.

USC’s fight song sounds like a movie score when the villain makes his first appearance on screen.
My daughter is a USC grad, I've seen the song girls and the band do several routines in front of Heritage Hall. I must say it's visually impressive.
Not their school song, I HATE giving Ohio State props….but this is something that I have heard and seen in person and it’s pretty awesome.
Meh, Script Ohio is overrated. Not that the Iowa Band does anything better, but I just don't get the hype.
For years this was the sound of me coming to from a college football recliner booze passout to see USC marching up and down the field on PAC After Dark.

Have you all actually read the lyrics to Rocky Top? Finding a lady that's half bear, half woman might be tough in other parts of the US.

Wisconsin begs to differ re marching band. And really, iu has the most talent, but I suspect matching in a band is below them.

This. Growing up when USC would be playing someone in the 7pm spot, you knew that song was about to be beaten into your brain for three hours and you loved it or hated it.
And obviously, they still must teach “ cursive penmanship” in Ohio! Something to convince the anti-public schoolers here...
There is nothing that says “college football band” better than “ Script OHIO” Sorry.There whole pre-game, from band entrance to field exit after “Script” really has a natural and even flow to it.,
Just for shits and giggles bubs, there is a two hour YouTube program on The Best Damn Band In the Land...how they audition students, how the band prepares and readies itself for a football season and why they are so damned good.
I’d actually say that Sparty’s cheer tops UM’s (Eat Em Up/Beat Em Up whatever you wanna call it)
