Just looking at the power five opponents (plus BYU and Notre Dame)

Illinois - @ North Carolina
Indiana - @ Wake Forest
Iowa - Iowa State, Pittsburgh
Maryland - @ West Virginia
Michigan - @ Utah, Oregon State, BYU
Michigan State - Oregon
Minnesota - TCU (also plays @ Colorado State, might be a difficult game)
Nebraska - BYU, @ Miami
Northwestern - Stanford, @ Duke
Ohio State - @ Virginia Tech
Penn State - (no power five opponents)
Purdue - Virginia Tech
Rutgers - Washington State, Kansas
Wisconsin - Alabama

- Minnesota got lucky in that TCU will probably be a top three team heading into that game. I would love to see Iowa play a huge early season game like that. But sometimes you get lucky. When they scheduled that game a few years ago, I'm sure nobody anticipated they would be where they're at. Minnesota on the upswing and TCU a national title contender.

- Michigan State vs Oregon will be insane at East Lansing. Sparty returns possible first round draft pick Connor Cook at QB. Both teams will be in the top ten. Crazy scenario: Sparty wins this game but loses to an undefeated Ohio State, do they make the playoff if Oregon has a great year?

- Nebraska plays BYU at home, should be interesting to see how many Cougars are suspended from that massive fight in the bowl game vs Memphis.

- Wisconsin vs Alabama is in Arlington, Texas.
