If you have Verizon they have very high quality used phones on their website.

Went that route for a couple phones for the kids. When they showed up you couldn’t tell they weren’t brand new.

You can get a iPhone 14 or a 12 pro max with the largest storage for a fraction of the price of new.

Get mint and buy a new iPhone 13 or newer for cash.

Or buy from a relative that takes good care when they upgrade

eBay, look for sellers with a lot of reviews and you won't have to sweat it. I have bought a handful of used phones this way and haven't had an issue yet.

For the main carriers and recent release phone you pay for it one way or another.

Boost has some decent deals on older phones but unlimited gets pricey.

Mint paid for a year in advance and buying a 13 new seems best. Just went thru that and don’t fall for Verizon gimmicks.
