This is my favorite. I'm not a huge theme park guy, although I've been on some big coasters over the years. This is considerably smaller and slower than what I've experienced, but I'm sold on its history. And its visceral, raw nature.

Kingda Ka

Shekra is probably second

And for a wooden coaster, El Toro shocked me at how good it was

It's actually reverse cowgirl. Unless you're gay. Nothing wrong with that.
embarrassed oh no GIF by CBC

Wild Thing (I think it was called) at Valley Fair in Shakopee, MN.

200 ft fall @ 74mph.

After one of the drops, there's a tunnel that gives the sensation your head is about to be chopped off. Good times.

I've only been to Adventurland, so I guess The Dragon, with The Outlaw and The Tornado coming in 2nd and 3rd. Haven't been in 15 years.

Best was the hulk at universal. The most thrilling/scary was velocicoaster at universal. It took about 30 minutes for the shock to wear off after it. I don’t believe I will ever do that one again.

Your insights into your favorite roller coaster experience are truly intriguing! Busch Gardens in Tampa about 30 years ago had one that left me disorientated and saliva on the side of my face.

Always wanted to ride more big coasters but I am kind of past that.

If I could just pay $15-$20 to ride a coaster and be done I might pursue it more. Paying for the full park experience doesn’t interest me at all.

Its been ages but the mamba at worlds of fun in Kansas city was awesome

Thanks for sharing this.

Can't do Coasters that invert any more. Last time I rode one I didn't feel right for a couple days. But as a kid we went to a bunch of parks as my dad loved Coasters. Probably my favorite was the Viper at Magic Mountain in LA. I also love Space Mountain. Nothing beats being able to ride it in a loop a few times.
Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom is pretty good as well.
Scariest rides I've ever been on were the rides at the top of the Strat in Vegas. Had a buddy that said he would pay for all the rides but I had to do all of them. So I did it. The Insanity makes you pucker.
