It was all a con to mislead the American public going into an election.

The BLS has been consistent in this annual squaring up of estimates releases thru out the year and the lagging hard data that can be compiled after year-end.
After adjustment, the net created jobs for 2024 is just under 2 million
That is the same as it was in 2019, pre-covid.
This extends the 2nd longest run of positive job creation in US history.
We can only hope that the next 4 years can match job #s of the last 4 years with an unemployment rate under 4%.

And without a doubt what Biden inherited during a pandemic with the job market on the ropes, supply chains severely hampered, and after Trump just flooded the system with cash (personally signed checks by Trump, PPP, etc.), was much worse than the current situation inherited by Trump where the markets are at all-time highs, job market is strong, etc.
