Also, there's the quote that Presidents are never on vacation. I believe that's mostly true, but in Biden's case he wasn't making most of the decisions, so he may be the exception.

It’s cute (and incredibly simple) that you think presidents make decisions completely on their own.
Honestly, as i told some buddies this morning when they sent me some 'fresh' pic of joe and hunter with the chinese, why do people continue to go on and on about these old political noisemakers? The guy's on his way out the door, and there's going to be plenty of stupidity to worry about on trump's part.
As a practical matter, between disease progression, bitterness, and the sudden feeling of emptiness that comes when, for the first time in 50 years, people suddenly stop pretending they give a shit about what you think, Biden is likely to be dead in 6-9 months. People need to let him go.
Aside from the jokes about the hypocrisy of Trump with all his time away from the WH - frequently golfing, after he'd mocked Obama over it so much and promising he wouldn't do likewise, I didn't really care for this reason.
For some reason, people seem to think that when POTUS isn't in DC, they're somehow disconnected from whatever's going on; when in reality they're almost never more than 5-10 min tops from a secure room that they can receive briefings, get on conference calls and such anywhere they go.

Joe’s big boo-boo (my opinion) is he should have announced after the mid-terms (2022) he was NOT seeking re-election…..but that would have created a whole mess of legislative issues with Congress and Republicans.
Hard to believe that would have made things any worse than the chaotic mess we landed with, with that GOP House we got.

He managed to keep inflation lower than all the other industrialized countries after being handed a shit show from Trump. There were zero recessions despite predictions that one was imminent.
