If things fall right Iowa could actually compete for the Western Division. Only two teams in way are Wisconsin and Nebraska and both have plenty of question marks. As if the divisions weren't completely out of whack before, Wisconsin and Nebraska come up with Paul Chryst and Mike Riley, while Jim Hartlieb goes to Michigan. Kirk Ferenz should kiss the ground he was handed this gift. Iowa would be a perennial middle to lower pack team in the East. It will eventually bite the Big10 as the East will beat up on each other and it will be very hard to get teams into the final four. They need to put MSU in the West and Purdue in the East. This alignment looks like it was put together by the Iowa AD.
