PSUs frosh 125 is just better and tougher than the Okie 125.
Kid impressed me. We all knew he had the physical tools. He lacks offense though.
I thought Gilman could have taken him down again though. Call it smart wrestling or whatever. Look for Gilman to widen the gap in the future.
I'm all for it if he backs it up. He surely didn't do that tonight.
And backing up is backing up. If you mouth off in the media about opponents backing up, then 10 days later spend a whole period on roller skates, people are going to bring it up.

Suriano never locked his hands around a leg. Gilman wrestled too conservatively and could have been hit, arguably, but he was also never threatened.
If Suriano tried to grab a leg as aggressively as he grabbed fingers, the OP might have room to make this point. Suriano never threatened winning this match.
I knew Suriano would wrestle like Nico..He never really tried much offense till under a min to go in 3rd period.. He is tough to take down because of his way of hand fighting and if you make a slip or miss shot most likely he is getting the 2 only way Gillman will beat him again has to find a way for at least 2 take downs and don't wait till last min and only be up by one.
