- Averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game in the Boilermakers' split against Michigan State and nationally-ranked Purdue

- Scored 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting, swiped a season-high four steals and pulled down four rebounds against the Hoosiers
- Chipped in 18 points, handed out five assists and corralled four rebounds at Maryland while drawing the defensive assignment on Terps' leading scorer Melo Trimble

F - Nick Ward, Michigan State (FR)

- Averaged 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game in the Spartans' overtime win at Minnesota and victory over Northwestern
- For the week, shot 61.9 percent (13-of-21) from the field
- Posted his second double-double of the season with 22 points and 10 rebounds, and tallied four blocks against the Gophers
- Chipped in 11 points, corralled nine boards and recorded a pair of blocks against the Wildcats
- Currently leads all Big Ten freshmen with 13.6 points per game
- Earns his third career Freshman of the Week honor in as many weeks.

C - Brionna Jones, Maryland (SR)

- Averaged 23.0 points, 13.5 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 2.5 steals per game with a .679 field-goal percentage and two double-doubles as Maryland split a pair of games last week
- Registered 19 points on 6-of-7 shooting and added 13 rebounds in a midweek loss to No. 1/1 UConn
- Posted 27 points, 13 rebounds, four steals and three blocks to lead the Terrapins to a win in their Big Ten opener at Minnesota on Sunday night
- Earns her second career Player of the Week honor

C - Hallie Thome, Michigan (SO)

- Averaged 23.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game with a .727 field-goal percentage and one double-double in two Michigan victories last week
- Scored a career-high 37 points on 13-of-15 shooting and 11-of-13 from the foul line while snaring 14 rebounds in the Wolverines’ win at Wisconsin on Sunday
- Her 37 points are the second-most by a Big Ten student this year (and the most in conference play) and tied the second-highest total in school history (the most since Dec. 3, 2003, when Jennifer Smith scored 37 points against Charlotte)
- Earns her first career Player of the Week honor

F - Victoria Gaines, Michigan State (FR)

- Posted her first collegiate double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds to help Michigan State win its Big Ten opener on Sunday against Illinois
- Connected on 6-of-7 shots from the field
- Both her scoring and rebounding totals were career highs
- Earns her first career Freshman of the Week honor
