- Helped Illinois extend the Big Ten's longest winning streak to six during a memorable week that saw the Illini win in West Lafayette for the first time in 11 seasons and win in Ann Arbor for the first time in 10 years
- Posted game-highs of 22 points and 15 rebounds along with 3 blocks in the win at Purdue, to record his eighth double-double of the season
- Illinois has now won six straight Big Ten games for the first time since setting a school record with 25 consecutive conference wins spanning the 2004 and 2005 seasons (Jan. 31, 2004 - March 3, 2005)
- Illinois is off to its best nine-game start in the Big Ten (7-2) since starting 15-0 in 2005
- Earns the seventh Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor of his career
- Becomes the first Illinois player in Big Ten history to earn Freshman of the Week seven times in one season
