  • Helped No. 16 Ohio State to a dominating win over No. 10 Villanova, 76-51, in the Gavitt Tipoff Games
  • Posted his eighth career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in the win
  • Blocked a career-high four shots and added three assists in 35 minutes of action
  • Earns the second Big Ten Player of the Week honor of his career

Co-Freshmen of the Week
Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana
F – 6-9 – Greenwood, Ind. – Center Grove High School – Major: Sport Marketing
  • Averaged 18.5 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots per game, while shooting 90 percent from the floor in a pair of wins for the Hoosiers
  • Recorded 20 points, making 14-of-15 from the free-throw line along with eight rebounds and three blocked shots against North Alabama
  • Posted 17 points and 14 rebounds, making all six of his field goal attempts in a win over Troy
  • The 14 made free throws were the most by a Hoosier since Eric Gordon made 14 in a game in 2007
  • Earns the first Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor of his career

Malik Hall, Michigan State

  • Scored all 17 of his points in the second half of the No. 3 Spartans’ comeback road victory at No. 12 Seton Hall in the Gavitt Tipoff Games
  • Hit the game-winning layup with 26 seconds left in regulation
  • Was a perfect 7-of-7 from the field in the victory, converting 3-of-3 from 3-point range
  • Also grabbed five rebounds and had one steal
  • Earns the first Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor of his career

Nia Clouden, Michigan State
G – So. – Owings Mills, Md. – St. Frances Academy – Major: Business
• Scored a career-high 28 points, while adding three assists and three steals to help No. 16/21 Michigan State to a road win at No. 15/14 Notre Dame on Nov. 14
• Made career-high four three-pointers, all in the first quarter, as the Spartans took the early lead and never relinquished it
• Paced MSU to its first win over Notre Dame since 2004 and the first victory by a Big Ten school over the Fighting Irish since 2009
• Earns her first Big Ten Player of the Week award

Freshman of the Week
Ashley Owusu, Maryland
G – Woodbridge, Va. – Paul VI – Major: Undeclared (Letters & Sciences)
• Averaged 13.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game with a .563 field-goal percentage last week as No. 8/5 Maryland recorded victories at James Madison and at home against Delaware
• Scored 14 points in the win at JMU on Nov. 13, including the game-winning basket with three seconds left to cap the Terrapins’ 19-point comeback
• Added 12 points, six rebounds and six assists in Sunday’s win over Delaware
• Collects her first Freshman of the Week award
