I hate giving praise to any Badger...but Happ is a stud and a handful.

Gonna need Garza, Kriener, and Cook keeping him off the glass and out the paint.

Is he still a terrible FT shooter? We probably need all 15 fouls too from our bigs. Well...10 maybe. No need for foul trouble.

Edit: yes, he’s still awful at the line (45%) on just 11 attempts this year.

Small sample size, but he's currently 5-11 at the FT line (45.5%).

Happ is an interesting player, he's near the top in scoring and rebounding each year. He has one B10 Steals per game title (and twice led it in total steals) and this year is leading in Assists per game (which shows that Wisconsin's shooters are definitely back this year which makes them very scary). And a block a game, even though it's not near league best average. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head that filled up the stat sheet in every category quite like he has, and the Hawks were right there in recruiting him until the end. Guys like Cook can have a three block game or a six assist game like he has already this year, but not average it consistently.

He is from a small town near the Ill. quad cities. Redshirted too didn't he?. I have a feeling many on here would not have been excited if we had got him. Just they way they are.

I’m sorry but wins over #13 Oregon and UConn in their backyard, after they just beat #15 Syracuse trump Wisconsin beating a marginal Xavier and Houston Baptist team. The award should of gone to Luka and Tyler as co-winners not Hap. Not a fan of his.
