• Posted three double-doubles in three Illinois home victories during a record-setting week
• Averaged 17.7 ppg and 14.7 rpg while shooting 57.9 percent from the floor in a 3-0 week
• Set an Illinois freshman record for rebounds in a game with 17 to go along with a team-high 18 points in a victory over The Citadel
• Opened the week with 15 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks in a win over Hawai’i
• Recorded his second career 20-point game with a team-high 20 points along with a game-best 13 rebounds in a triumph over Hampton
• Leads the Big Ten with 12.7 rebounds per game, which ranks fifth in the nation
• With a 15.8 points per game scoring average, stands as the only freshman in the nation averaging a double-double
• The last Big Ten student to earn both Player and Freshman of the Week honors in the same week was Michigan State’s Nick Ward on Feb. 27, 2017
• The last Illinois freshman to earn Player of the Week honors was Giorgi Bezhanishvili on Feb. 11, 2019 and prior to that, it was Dee Brown on Dec. 23, 2002

• Scored a game-high 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting while adding a career-best five steals and three rebounds in No. 18/25 Indiana’s win at Florida on Nov. 22
• Had 12 points (5-8 FG) in the first half to help the Hoosiers open up a double-digit lead en route to a victory in their road opener
• Recorded her second 20-point game this season, finishing one point off her career high (24 vs. Mount St. Mary’s on Nov. 7)
• Earns her first Big Ten Player of the Week award

Freshman of the Week
Ashley Owusu, Maryland
G – Woodbridge, Va. – Paul VI – Major: Undeclared (Letters & Sciences)
• Averaged 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game with a .500 field-goal percentage last week, pacing the No. 9/10 Terrapins to home wins against George Washington and Quinnipiac
• Registered a season-high (and game-best) 19 points (on 8-of-12 shooting), along with six rebounds and a game-high six assists in Sunday’s win over Quinnipiac
• Added eight points and season highs of seven rebounds and nine rebounds in Maryland’s Nov. 20 win over George Washington
• Collects her second Freshman of the Week award
