• Averaged 23.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 1.3 assists per game in Wisconsin’s three wins on the way to the 2021 Maui Invitational Tournament title
• Named the 2021 Maui Invitational Tournament MVP, the fourth Big Ten player to earn the honor and the first since Illinois’ Brandon Paul (2012)
• Became the first Badger since 2018 to score at least 20 points in three straight games
• Recorded 30 points in Wisconsin’s 65-63 upset victory over No. 12 Houston
• Earns the first Player of the Week accolade of his career

Freshman of the Week
Bryce McGowens, Nebraska
G – 6-7 – Pendleton, S.C. – Legacy Early College

• Averaged 20.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steal per game in two Nebraska victories
• Recorded 22 points and added eight rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block in an 83-70 win over South Dakota
• Went 11-of-22 from the field in wins over Tennessee State and South Dakota
• Earns his second career Freshman of the Week honor

Naz Hillmon, Michigan
Sr. – F – Cleveland, Ohio – Gilmour Academy – Major: Communications and Media
• Averaged 21.0 points and 11.3 rebounds per game with three double-doubles in three Wolverine wins last week, including victories over No. 16/19 Oregon State and Mississippi State to win the Daytona Beach (Fla.) Invitational title
• Named MVP at the Daytona Beach Invitational after posting 20 points, 13 rebounds and four steals in a Nov. 26 win over Oregon State and 18 points and 10 rebounds the following day in a victory over Mississippi State
• Added 25 points on 11-of-13 shooting in 24 minutes of a Nov. 22 win against Oakland
• Earns her fifth career Big Ten Player of the Week award and first this season

Freshman of the Week
Alexis Markowski, Nebraska
F – Lincoln, Neb. – Pius X – Major: Undeclared
• Averaged 6.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game in two Husker wins last week in helping Nebraska capture the title at The Dana on Mission Bay Holiday Tournament in San Diego
• Had a career-high nine rebounds in Nov. 26 win over Drexel and seven points and seven rebounds the next day in victory over tournament host San Diego
• Part of a Nebraska squad that is off to its best start (7-0) since the 2014-15 season
• Collects her first Big Ten Freshman of the Week award
