Sorry, the local numbers are for each school’s reporters. I wanted to show the difference between the general consensus and the opinions of those close to each program. I just thought it was odd that Iowa’s ranking was the biggest difference.

Thanks. Surprising that a couple of local reporters had an even lower expectation than the overall media.

I know the competition among teams 3-10 is going to be tough and is difficult to predict, but it seems like Fran doesn't get as much respect from the media outside of Iowa as he deserves. Losing only one player, having two first-team all frosh players back, and the top 6th-man returning, should translate into better than 8th place IMO.

last season Iowa was picked to finishes 10th or worse because they lost AA Uthoff and 3 other SR starters. yet they go 10-8 and finished in a tie for 5th with these

2 of these beat Iowa on their court in the 1 play and now they come to Carver, 4th Place Minnesota beat Iowa in OT in the barn, just 1 victory and Iowa finishes in 4th place, to me the biggest loss was to Illinois in Carver,

although the loss to Minnesota kept Iowa from finishing in 4th place alone. but with playing 4 FR Starters for most of the season and finishing in a tie for 5th, makes predicting them to finish worse than 5th makes no sense at all.

that to much returning talent to ignore,
