Here are the standings.

Iowa, Ohio State, and Michigan State are all jockeying for the 6th, 7th, and 8th spots. Indiana, Nebraska, and Illinois have wrapped up the top 3 spots.

There's a good chance that it would be Iowa and Nebraska Wednesday afternoon!

Iowa will play at 9am, 1pm, or 5pm. The 1pm and 5pm times are most likely.

Anybody know if they are going to have beer for sale? Just in the club level?

so msu has 1 game left with psu

OSU has one game left with NU.

Iowa has a DH today with Purdue.

still could get 6th seed with a sweep and some help. but do we know the scenario?

I know someone posted the rules but do we know how that plays out with these 3 teams?

If Iowa wins both games today they will be in 6th as they have the tiebreaker over MSU from what I can see and would have a better record than OSU.

If Iowa/OSU finish with the same record...OSU wins the tiebreaker over Iowa

MSU can only finish better than Iowa/OSU with a better record than each of the schools.

Really 6th-8th as far as the tournament goes is a wash, sure it looks better to say hey we finished 6th as opposed to 8th. However, you are going to play Indiana, Nebraska, or Illinois so pick your poison. If Iowa had a healthy Calvin Mathews and Tyler Peyton I'd say sure. No matter who Iowa draws first we are going to need a solid outing from Blake Hickman in all reality.

Now if you want a good fan showing, you want the 8th seed because it's a 5pm game at the earliest. The 6 seed will play at 9am on Wednesday and the 7 seed at 1pm (earliest) on Wednesday.

Big Ten Tournament - TD Ameritrade Park - Omaha, NE

Wednesday - May 21
#3 Illinois vs. #6 Michigan (9:00 a.m.)
#2 Nebraska vs. #7 Ohio State (1:00 p.m.)

#1 Indiana vs. #8 Iowa (5:00 p.m. - Big Ten Network)
#4 Minnesota vs. #5 Michigan(9:00 p.m. - Big Ten Network)

Glad for Iowa to be coming to Omaha. Iowa has a tough draw in the first game, but the way I see it you will have to face/beat Indiana at some point to have a chance to win this thing. You might as well do it on day one when your pitching is going to be as fresh as it will be for the tournament. I'd like to see Iowa face Michigan in their second game win or lose as that series loss kind of stung with how it went down.

That is a good point. Might as well face the top team with your best arms on the mound and with rest as opposed to a run down bullpen
